Earring Holder DIY

Many of my inspirations for projects or recipes come to me when I least expect them to. Like in the supermarket when I’m perusing the kitchen supplies section. When a normal person sees a grill topper they think ‘oh I can cook my food on that’. My craft hobbyist brain thinks ‘oh great I can hang my jewelry off that’. And that’s exactly what I did for this DIY Earring Holder for under $10.

What you will need:

  • Picture frame
  • Disposable Grill topper (make sure it fits the dimensions of your frame)
  • Staple gun
  • Pliers
  • Craft or decorative wrapping paper (optional)*

Option 1: No Background

If you chose to not do a background for your Earring Holder this DIY will be very simple as long as your dimensions of the grill topper fit to your frame. Most grill toppers fit a 11″ x 14″ frame so you may not even need to trim the edges.

1. Take out the backing and the glass of your frame

2. Staple gun your grill topper to the back

*Option 2: If you want to get a little fancy, you can add a decorative background with a craft or wrapping paper of your choice.

1. Take out the backing and the glass of your frame

2. Trim the edges of the grill topper so it fits into the grooves of the frame. This doesn’t have to be perfect

3. Fit the paper over the back and secure it down with a staple gun

That’s it!

Hope you enjoyed this quick DIY and it makes your jewelry storing a little simpler:)
