Quinoa Protein Green Juice


If you’re sensitive to the whey and soy based protein powders that are out on the market try adding ground Quinoa to your smoothies and juices.

Raw quinoa does have a mild bitter taste to it so you may want to give it a few rinses under water and let it dry before placing into a coffee grinder or Magic Bullet. If the taste doesn’t bother you too much, you can do what I do and squeeze in a wedge of fresh orange juice before drinking. It contains 7 grams of protein and is perfect for a mid-morning snack or on the go.


Makes ~ 4 cups

2 cups raw Spinach

1 cup each

  • Strawberries
  • Mangoes
  • Celery
  • Cucumber
  • Finely ground dry Quinoa
  • Water
  • Icephoto-11

2 wedges juice from Lemon

1 teaspoon rawΒ Stevia

Toppings (optional)

Juice of orange to taste (highly recommended)

Flax Seeds

Chia Seeds

Coconut Flakes

    • Make sure to blend it out really well, it’ll have a little chalky texture to it, but what protein shake doesn’t lol. You get used to it though. To health!
