Healthy Glazed Peaches Recipe

As promised from yesterday’s post  A Peachy Sunday Morning here is the recipe for Glazed Peaches. It’s dairy free, gluten free, naturally soy free, and sugar free. For the pancake recipe check out Almond-Oat Flour Pancakes. Enjoy, share, and let me know what you think. Happy Monday! 


In a sauce pan on medium heat mix for 3 minutes:

  • Melt 2 Tablespoons of Coconut oil
  • Add sliced peaches
  • 1 teaspoon stevia

Add the next ingredient in and stir for 1 minute:

  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Add remaining ingredients and simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes:

  • ¼ cup Orange Juice
  • 1/3 cup Water

Remove from heat and let cool so the sauce can thicken.


For a slightly thicker sauce you can add ¼ teaspoon Xantham Gum

    • Oh me too..if the ingredients or directions list is too long I stay far far away. Probably also why I let my cookbooks collect dust. Seems too daunting to read, I just wanna get to the action ;)

  1. That looks yummy, Rakhi! I use stevia, too. Actually grew it last summer, and dried the leaves, but haven’t had the chance to use them much in my cooking, only in teas. I’ll give them a try and see if I can use them in this recipe. Photos are beautiful. Bright and cheerful. Thank you for that! XOXO

    • I’ve always been curious about drying stevia leaves and extracting the sweetness from them. Let me know how it goes for you. And bright and cheerful is exactly what I intend Little Bliss Book to be, thank you for picking up on that :)
